Philip Biffen
I've had a flair for art for as far back as I can remember,at nineteen I joined the SE London Art Society and began exhibiting regularly at the Peckham Gallery.

I like detail in my watercolours, a trait born from over 40 years on the architectural drawing board, this eye for detail led me to being commissioned to complete 16 aircraft portraits for the Hornchurch Air Museum, a commission which bought about an introduction to the Guild of Aviation Artists with whom I exhibited at various airshows, the Qantas and Mall Galleries, London, and the Shuttleworth, Duxford, and Hendon collections to name a few.

In 1975 I joined Middletons the publishing agency and had the experience of illustrating a number of books and greetings cards.

Time spent with the Royal Navy Auxiliary Service and Maritime Volunteer Service fueled my long term interest in all things maritime, and this is evident in my portfolio of work.

I am now a member of the Folkestone Art Society and the Forge {Dungeness} Art Society with other societies pending-see exhibition page.
